CUSTOM WORDPRESS WEBSITE & WEP APPLICATION

OVERVIEW

CruitCast is a sports is a startup sports recruiting platform, that needed full-stack support to build their app and website.

Their innovative app live streams sporting events directly to coaches and recruiting staff, equipping them to make easier-than-ever scouting decisions. We worked with them to design and build the app and continue to improve its offering.

PHASE1

Audit. CruitCast’s CTO created an MVP (minimum viable product) that they used as proof of concept to help solicit their initial funding. We used this model, along with several client planning discussions to start creating the first UX deliverables.

PHASE2

Content. Structuring your user roles and offering is crucial when creating a SaaS. From the outset, CruitCast was very smart in where to add value for each user. Because the app is new, emphasis must also be placed on educating users in how it all works. We helped convey this in the website, and continue to improve communication directly through the app.

PHASE3

Design. As a new brand, it was crucial for CruitCast to strengthen their visuals across both their website and the application. The UI focuses on easy navigation for an audience that is often not tech-savvy. Each user level has unique elements and access to functionality. We continue to improve UI/UX based on user feedback and new features.

PHASE4

Development. The web app is built on a php framework, and the website is WordPress. Because the app includes several video feeds, we pay particular attention to how their servers perform. Through an ongoing dialogue we equipped CruitCast to manage the website internally, and we continue to collaborate on improvements.

PHASE5

Launch. Although it can feel like the marathon is over, the day a SaaS launches is Day 1. Since their launch in 2016, CruitCast has been non-stop in pivoting and growing to meet customer demand. Their innovation caught the attention of their competition, and we work diligently to deliver for them through new features and user benefits.
